where is savita from and how long has she been in delhi?
rs 300 x 2(2 children) assuming children falling ill 5 times in a year.
total cost = 600 x 5 = rs 3000
most of the working class infections are caused by water infection as the water in our taps falls far short of standard quality.(this is the reason we have filters in our houses)
unfortunately the maids and casual labourers don't see this as a priority as nobody has educated them on this.
why don't u try educating her on water borne diseases and get her to buy a standard water filter which costs about rs 650 which is worth 2 illnesses of her children.
